    changing Mount permission

    hi,
    I would like to mount iso files as normal user and not as root. is there a way that I can change the mount users permission? thanks!

    The problem is not the mount command itself. The problem is that not only are all the subdirectories in /media owned by root, but so is the /media directory itself. This is a Security Precaution, that you violate at your own risk!
