Major Updates (Dapper 6.06.1 and KDE 3.5.4)

Hi, I saw in the announcements that Dapper 6.06.1 and KDE 3.5.4 are now available.

Just a stupid question. If I have the basic Kubuntu installation, and I regularly allow the autmatic updates to execute, do I even need to pay attention to that? Will they automatically update once they are in a stable version? Or do I need to specifically choose to update them?

    Thanx

You do not need to pay attention to the Dapper 6.06.1 version if you have been faithfully upgrading whenever you receive a notice.

KDE 3.5.4, on the other hand, is a different matter. You have to add a special repository for it. However, I cannot personally recommend upgrading to this version, as it has a few minor bugs. But it's still useable if you manage to get through those bugs. The instructions are found on the Announcement section of the forum.
