I uninstalled firfox with adept. Then, as root, I deleted the /usr/lib/firefox directory and tried installing firefox from the Mozilla site. This didn't work out so I removed it and reinstalled firefox from the repositories...only now I have 2 problems:
* I frequently get certificate messages saying websites aren't certified
* Can't get Sun Java to work. I even removed and reinstalled sun-java5-bin and sun-java5-plugin and can't get java on firefox (or on Konqueror now)
I think the problem lies where I deleted the firefox directory but I can't fix this
