    ADEPT

I was doing an upgrade to a number of packages, when adept stopped because it could not install a package. It then closed itself.

Since then when I try to use adept to install or remove or upgrade packages it tells me I can not make changes because "some other process is running adept, please close it."

As far as I know adept is not running. I even rebotted and then restarted my machine hoping it would shutdown, no luck.

How do you kill adept from a command line? When I try to get help for options it just gives me help options. I really need to install a number of packages.

After upgrading the xserver-core and my the O/S not running I reinstalled Kubunto from scratch and have spent the past 4 hours copying data into the new install and setting it up again.

    Re: ADEPT

You can try typing this command in Konsole to get Adept up and running again (make sure Adept is closed):

    Code:
    sudo dpkg --configure -a
What were you trying to install when Adept when it stalled and closed?
    Jucato's Data Core
