In theory both my internal external DVD drives are capable of writing double layer DVD+R disks. This is confirmed by the information which k3b gives on each drives. Also, before writing, k3b can access the disk information and confirms that it is a virgen double layer DVD+R disk. However, when I try to write data to it, about 6.5GB, k3b gives me an i/o error, for both drives....
Has anyone successfully been able to record double layer disks in Kubuntu dapper? From the k3b mailing list I can see that it is possible, and I have seen a similar error report for ubuntu 6.06, which makes me think it is a specific dapper error.
Thanks,
Tim
