I am currently trying to get transparency usable on my system with a ATI radeon 9600 card. Right now I use the fglrx driver and transparency just won't work at all with it. According to this page http://gentoo-wiki.com/TIP_Xorg_X11_...y#ATi_.2B_Xorg using the 'radeon' driver will make the Composite extension "ridiculously fast". But when I search for info on getting this 'radeon' driver I can't find it; all I can find are the 'ati' and 'fglrx' drivers. So my question is where do I get and how can I install the 'radeon' driver?
