    instal automatix on amd64 problem

Just finished installing kubuntu 64 on amd64 3700+ with no real problems yet. But automatix won't install because of an error with gpg key export. It seems that the command:
    gpg --import key.gpg.asc
    brings back
gpg: key 521A9C7C was created 76515868 seconds in the future (time warp or clock problem)
gpg: key 521A9C7C: no valid user ids
    gpg: Total nuber processed: 1
    gpg: w/o user IDs: 1

I read somewhere that the system clock moves twice as fast on 64bit arch. There is a fix but I can't find the thread. Anyone know about it??

P.S. I cannot log in to kubuntuforum on the new machine either.
I tried Enlightenment once, it was pretty cool.

Re: instal automatix on amd64 problem

    Hi,

I'm using a 64 bits version on a X2 (dual core) processor and it's working well. On the beginning with a much older kernel I had troubles, now not anymore.
It seems that it's because you're in the wrong time, no ? What is the date of your system ? It seems that you're 2 years and a half in the past...

    Cheers

The was fine. I think it is a problem with the install kernel. I installed the latest kernel and it is working fine now. Thanx.
