Why PHP Session doesn't work?

I install
Apache Server 2/MySQL 4/PHP 5.1.2
But PHP Session doesn't work
Can Somebody help me?
I'm with Kubuntu Dapper Drake 6.06
KDE 3.5.4
Kernel:2.6.15-26-386
