    changing logon screen

    Hi,

I want to change the lonon screen from the default kubuntu to something else. I tried going into system settings and changing it there but after restarting x it goes right back to the default.
I know in redhat I was able to edit the /etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc but I don't find that in kubuntu. Any pointers on how to change it?

    Thanks

    I think in Kubuntu it's /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc
Linux is ready for the desktop--but whose desktop?<br />How to install software in Kubuntu

Thank you. I should learn to look a little closer next time.

There's also a KDM theme manager on KDE-apps called kcontrol-kdmtheme.

        Have fun.
