    pgp hard drive encryption?

    Hello there!
I have recently installed Kubuntu Dapper and I am wondering if it is possible to encrypt the entire hdd?

In Windows XP I used PGP 9.0, to do that. Are there any similar software for Linux that will do the same, so that I will be presented with a passphrase login screen at boot?

Check out TrueCrypt. You can get a TGZ Ubuntu .deb package from the web site.
