Cannot Update or install any file/codecs/pligins etc(URGENT HELP)

Hi still needs some help in upgrading and installing new repository files, codecs etc and especially install amule. But when I enter sudo apt-get update this is what it gives me.

Well that says to me that there are problems getting stuff from the mirror/repository(s).

You could try something like, http://www.ubuntulinux.nl/source-o-matic
, follow the instructions to get a complete new sources.list, save it to your desktop, the copy it to the old list, or you could rename the old list to /etc/apt/sources.list.old and then save the new one without the .old so that your system see's it as the "working" one.

Then for ease of use, install http://easyubuntu.freecontrib.org/overview.html
and just tell that to "do it's thing" (you'll see what I mean if you try it). Of course, easyubuntu does AFAIK, require a working set of mirrors/repositories.

Or maybe you could just do the stuff for "source-o-matic" as linked above, but use a different country code - if the AU is playing up, then try gb, or us, or whatever you want.

I'd think that'd be the quickest way of getting to do what you want.
