Hi anyone..... I am new(ish) to LINUX and have just installed KUBUNTU as I prefer the GUI to Gnome personally. I am anxious to switch 100% to Linux from Windows hence my perseverence with a number of distros but always returning to Ubuntu/Kubuntu. However, my HP OfficeJet died the other day and I bought a Lexmark P4350. The printer installation list shows the printer right enough but I cannot find (or load??) the driver for it. Can anyone help me here please? Thanks! Peter

Re: LEXMARK P4350 PRINTER DRIVER
Not sure what's happening, but if you're running the KDE print manager installation software (K menu/System Settings/Printers), and it's saying that it can't find the drivers, try running:Code:sudo foomatic-cleanupdrivers

Re: LEXMARK P4350 PRINTER DRIVER
Hi and thanks for the response. Well, to be honest, I did make one error in my original post by stating that I could SEE the printer listed in KDE. Sorry, it is not listed, at least after trying the sudo foomatic-cleanupdriver command. I can see it (obvious now) when the P4350 Lexmark is plugged into the USB port. So, any ideas at all if there is a LEXMARK P4350 driver out there? Thanks a lot....
Peter
