I'm running 6.0.6 AMD 64 and cannot getK3b to write to a cd. Both hard drives and dvd burners are SATA. If I try to write an ISO image K3b reports that cdrecord does not have permissions to open the device. All pemissions seem to be OK system wide, but K3b won't let me change permissions.
Curiously, Ubuntu (the brown OS) doesn't have this problem, but it is too wierd for me to use. Any thoughts?

In your place I would reinstall k3b to get it working...
For me it's working on 3 computers without troubles and tweaking.
