virutal desktops?

i don't know if taht is their name, but I used to have differet desktops and they had 1,2,3, on my panel but now they are not there. How can I get them back

You (probably) mean that your desktop switcher/pager is gone.

Right click on the taskbar, go to add applet, find the desktop previewer and pager, and drag it on to your taskbar.

no, I actually lost my virtual desktops

Oh dear. Did you right click the desktop and select configre desktop ... on one of the panels you can set the number of virtual desktops.

Theyre my only two ideas Im afraid.
