GTK error

    GTK error

    [MOVED to the right section, by myself]

    When i install from source via the konsole it gives me this error:

    *** The gtk-config script installed by GTK could not be found
    *** If GTK was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
    *** your path, or set the GTK_CONFIG environment variable to the
    *** full path to gtk-config.
    configure: error: GTK is required!

    Am i doing something wrong?
    I have these gtk packages installed:

    libgtk2.0-0
    libgtk2.0-0-dbg
    libgtk2.0-bin
    libgtk2.0-cil
    libgtk2.0-common
    libgtk2.0-dev
    libgtk2.0-doc
    libgtkhtml2-dev
    libgtkhtml2-0

    Re: GTK error

    Its a bit hopeful, but try deleting config.cache and configuring again.

    If that doesnt work, updatedb, locate libgtk. If the libs are in a non-standard location (i.e. /usr/lib or /usr/local/kib), add those paths to /etc/ld.so.cong and run ldconfig, then try again (remembering to delete config.cache again).
