QT3 never works

ok, trying to install kpuzzle or other programs.

but always get this error.

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

But I have everything of qt3 and qt4 installed that adept has. I have all the depositories. I even have QT3 configuration installed and can run it.

but I can never ever do a ./configure of any program that uses qt3.

any help would be nice.

Do you have the qt3-dev package too?

I do not see anything in adept that says qt3-dev but I do have
qt3-apps-dev
qt3-dev-tools 3 of these kind
qt3-qtconfig


where do I get then qt3-dev?

The phrase 'qt3-dev' kinda refers to the top two, but all three can't hurt........

I found a place to download qt3 and install it. took like over 1 hour to do the ./configure make and make install but all works now .
