Open Office seg faults on startup

I recently upgraded from Breezy to Dapper. I didn't have Open Office installed before the upgrade.

Whenever I run any of the OOo programs they fail with the same message

/usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice: line 233: 5349 Segmentation fault "$sd_prog/$sd_binary" "$@"

Removing then reinstalling had no effect.

Any thoughts on what's up?

Try:

$ cd
$ mv .openoffice.org2 .openoffice.org2.not

which moves your user's openoffice configuration files aside, then see if openoffice runs.

I'm having the same problem. This didn't work for me, although it did cause the error to change from only the segmentation fault error to both a "java not installed" error and then the segmentation fault error.
Any other ideas?
