want to play java game in konqueror

I use konqueror as web browser & I want to play an online java poker game on Yahoo,

I looked at adept & I have some java installed but the yahoo game is still not working & says I need java...?!

    Want can I do?

I'm new some I like to install only with adept, but I will work at it to make this work.

*side note... I was at bodog.net to play their flash game (got flash) but can't see the text on the buttons so can't play there... isn't that odd?

I don't want to boot to XP to play... I want to only use Kubuntu 100%!!!

    Thanks for any help, Mike

Re: want to play java game in konqueror

For Java games, I'd recommend you install Sun's Java Runtime Environment (Kubuntu uses an Open Source version of Java). Here are the instructions for installing Sun's Java: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java

For Flash games, you'd want to install the flashplugin-nonfree, which is also found in the multiverse repository (same as Java). Here
are the instructions: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Re...d7c4ef05acff2b (scroll down a bit for the Kubuntu instructions)

    Hope that helps.
