    Adept error?

    Hi,
    Could you please tell me where I should check for errors in Adept? So I can better report to waht's happening with adept.

    the following resolved the problem

    sudo apt-get install --reinstall

    seems id not installed vmware-player correctly

      Actually, that error message appears when you are trying to install something that would break some exsisting dependencies. Chances are, nothing has been downloaded/installed yet, to there is nothing broken yet (I hope).

      Here's a quick tip when trying to install something in Adept. When you have selected "Request Install", before you click on "Apply Changes", click on "Preview Changes" first. It will show you what will be installed, upgraded, or removed. It will also show you if what you are about to do will break some dependencies.
