I've recently installed kubuntu dapper on my wife's computer. All the other machines in the house run slackware which I know well, but I'm on a bit of a learning curve with kubuntu!
I use the fish protocol for swapping files between machines (fish://mymachine), which works brilliantly on the slack boxes. I can log into the slack boxes from the kubuntu machine OK, but I cannot access the kubuntu machine from the slack boxes!
All other networking appears to work normally!
I've installed the ssh server stuff, and the kde ssh front end, but suspect I'm still missing something, or need to configure something!
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong? I haven't found any useful clues in any of the logs!
(and should this thread be in the networking section? - Though that seems primarily concerned with hardware!)
