    Adept giving error

    i have kubuntu DD. i installed Auto matix and easy ubuntu. after this Adept is not working whenever i open it, it says that another application is using the apt or apt get can not access...... u can not change ur system settings.
    some think like this is. i mean i can not install or remove softwares through it.
    how can i fix the problem

    Try typing "sudo apt-get update" from the console - see if you get an error saying that there is a "lock" file or files open. If you do, then delete the "lock" files (using, for example, kdesu konqueror) then try again

        Thanks for the advice but in my case it wouldn't open konqueror.
        Thsi is the script that came up
