Playing DVDs/Kubuntu 6.0.6

Hello,

The problem is that I cannot play any DVD under kubuntu Dapper/Acer TravelMate 8204, though I've installed all codecs etc using automatix. I also have kaffeine, xine and totem installed and none of is able to read a DVD. Attached are the error messages I get.

It seems that the error-messages files were not uploaded.
Here are the error messages.

xine message - kaffeine player:
The source can't be read
May be you don't have enough rights for this, or source doesn't contain data (e.g.: no disc in drive). (Error opening vtsN=-1, domain=2).

tote:
Totem wasn't able to play this disc
Failed to find mountpoint for /dev/scd0

I have the same issue with the added frustration that it seizes everything when I put in the dvd.

The files listed, especially "libdvdcss2" should solve your problem.
