I've installed kubuntu dapperdrake, it runs fine except for webbrowsing. It is extremely slow and takes a long time to open a webpage, in my suse install it all goes fast and nifty. Some of my friends who have installed kubuntu have the same problem, anyone that has an idea what may be causing this?

I'm not having this praticular problem. And any difference in speed between Konqueror and Firefox is quite unnoticeable on my end.
Anyway, this tip might give your web browsing a boost if your network/internet connection doesn't use IPv6.

That is weird, maybe you need to re install it?
I never noticed a change in web speeed and I use Konqueror, Mozilla, Flock and Opera.Comment
