I've been trying to reproduce some videos of my own (mp4 files) as well as some other formats (avi, mpeg, etc) but with no success. Mp4 files and avi files (divx enconded in this case) are all played but with no image, only sound. I've installed the w32codecs debian package as well as those xine-codecs package i've heard of.
Any ideas? What could exacly be the problem?
PS: Any way for 3gp to be a supported format on kaffeine? Thanks.

There are no *.avi *.mp3 *.mp4 in 6.06 reliase. In debian.org i found too many pak's need to install for this ability (something about 100-200 pkgs) I think we need some pack like KliteKodekPack for Kubuntu.
