BitTorrent is doing something behind my back

Hi all,

I've been using bittorrent for some time now, and I have found it very useful. However recently it was brought to my attention that BitTorrent seems to be accessing the Internet with out Ktorrent running.

Is there a way for me to stop this from happening?

I got FireStarter to block the port its using 6881, hoping it will just time it self out but it doesnt. I havent got a clue what program is doing it as Ktorrent is not running.

Any help is appreciated.

Maybe you can get a clue about this with this command :
netstat -an
then look for the port and try to find by ps who is using network...
