Errors using certain commands

I cannot sudo anything, nor can I use ifconfig. Those are the only two that I have tried to run using the terminal. They just freeze the terminal and I cannot send any kill signals to it. The system still works, it just doesnt seem to do anything with those commands.

The system also hangs when I try to shut it down. KDE is properly terminated, but the X Server won't shut down

Did you try to upgrade every packages on your computer ?
