FreePops & Thunderbird Problem

Anyone using FreePops with Thunderbird on Kubuntu Dapper Drake?

Trying to d/l email from Yahoo and localhost keeps refusing access. Using router but no software firewall.

The settings are as per manual :

POP3 Server - localhost
Port - 2000

Re: FreePops & Thunderbird Problem

did you download freepops via:
Code:
# sudo apt-get install freepops
if not, you can try to install via the Ubuntu repositories and see if that helps at all.

You are using the correct module also, for yahoo.com?

You might get better results for this issue over at the FreePOPs Forums.

Good luck getting this taken care of!!!
