Using Thunar with Kubuntu... issues.

Hi!

Just hoping someone can help me out. I used Xubuntu for a while, and really came to like the xfce file manager - Thunar. So, I thought I'd try it out in Kubuntu, and it works great. The only problem is I seem to be having issues with Thunar remembering preferences between sessions. My guess is that it's looking for the xfce session manager, but using that would involve getting rid of the KDE session manager.

So... what's a guy to do? I like Thunar, but it's kind of a pain to have to reset my font choices every time I reboot.

Anyone?

you can try to move the thunar directory in your home ~/ directory. It is more then likely a hidden file. It could possibly be located in ~/.kde/share/apps/thunar

i am not 100% positive on this as i don't use it. but if you find where it is stored, try renaming it/moving it, then restarting thunar and see if you can save the settings then.
