Thunderbird - Log On Problem ....HELP! (RESOLVED)

Had a power outage and system went down suddenly. Since then can't access any of my email accounts; keep getting User ID/Password error.

Internet connection ok as browser, IM etc. work just fine.

Running latest version of Firefox for Kubuntu.

Are your usernames/passwords saved on your computer so that you don't have to input them every time you load up T-bird?  If so, it sounds like they're corrupted.  Maybe you can modify your T-bird profile so that it won't save the username/password, then log into your email (inputting your user/pass manually), then go back to your profile and have it start saving the user/pass again.  Maybe that would delete your corrupted user/pass file and create a new one?

Worked great. Just deleted profile and not the files. Named a new profile using same data folder and worked just fine.
