Evolution links do nothing

I installed dapper with firefox and evolution. I went into KDE Components and clicked on Default Applications and set firefox as the browser ("firefox %u").

When I click on a link in evolution nothing at all happens. I've looked all over the forums and have found a lot of similar problems but nothing that helps me.

Has anyone else run across this problem?

I'm having a similar issue but I don't think it's limited to Evolution. For some reason links are not opening from Evolution and other software. I'm also having an issue with Azureus and I wonder if they are related.
