OpenOffice: UI font scrambled to symbols

Good evening people,

To put it shortly, here goes: After updating from Hoary to Dapper my Openoffice has been unusable. The Reason: UI font is some weird symbolic one (see pic). Oo version is 2.0.2-2ubuntu12.

If anyone out here is familiar with the situation please please please help me out.

Okay,

found some part of the problem, have to manage with it for now... I really would like the OO to work "out of the box" though... Solution: Removed openoffice.org-kde. Something with it screws up the fonts. To make OO a bit more appealing, I installed openoffice.org-gtk (I use a lot gtk-stuff like hugin, linuxdcpp... so no prob. for me).
