    Another "Does Linux Have?" Question

    Is there an equivelent to:
    net send \Domain:{domain name} {Message}

    With this, does Linux have its counter part:
    Messenger Service

    Beleive it or not, I use these quite a bit in my environment at work.

    **Pardon my spelling as I'm using FireFox and it appears not to have a Spell Check as you type feature.

    hi - cant remember intimate details - but if you time man smbclient in a shell, and search for message (i.e. /message), then N to get to each next occurence, I think you'll find what you're looking for

      Re: Another &quotoes Linux Have?" Question

      Thanks. That was close to what I was looking for. Gave me some clues onn how to search for what I'm looking for. I was looking for something like that but that would work directly with Windows' Messager service. Smbclient appears to need WinPopup installed on all my Windows' clients which would be more trouble than it's worth. Thanks again!
