Who needs MP3 when you got Ogg Vorbis?

BTW, I'd like to take the opportunity and sway the flag for Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Speex, Ogg Flac and hopefully soon Ogg Theora. Ogg Vorbis is the free or open source (forgive me Richard:-) variant of MP3. A lot of people don't know that Ogg Vorbis is better than MP3 while at the same time making smaller files.

Now if you got a huge MP3 collection on your hard drive, it's not advisable to convert it into Ogg Vorbis, since both formats are lossy, meaning compressed. One always has to convert a lossless format like Ogg Flac or WAV into a lossy one. I recently ogged my entire CD collection (that is legal as long as you're not publically sharing it) and now I can listen to my music comfortably through Amarok, and now I'm an oggultist so to say.
