    KDE353 Screensaver Bug

Have not been able to use kscreensaver due to a (known) KDE bug. I was wondering if anyone else having this problem had it fixed with the new updates a couple of days ago. Mine is still not working and wondered if I should be looking somewhere else or is this bug still to be fixed for Kubuntu.

Don't mind waiting for the fix, just wanted to know.

    Cheers

    Re: KDE353 Screensaver Bug

Well as far as I can tell my KDE is as up to date, as is possible.

The screensaver still doesn't seem to be working properly i.e. I use the clock screensaver, set so that it moves about the screen but keeps time. It does seem to cut in, but then as if the application freezes and the clock image remains stationary and the time shown stays fixed at the time of the freeze.

So I'm presuming that some work has been done, but it's not finished/theres more that needs doing - as my linux knowledge can be written on the back of a very small postage stamp (with a very large felt marker), it won't be me that looks into it!
