I have several A4 landscape pdfs which contain very detailed information, (architecture plans), and I want to print them across 4 A4 sheets of paper to make one big A3 poster. This can be done from the print menu, Location > Print > Properties > Poster, except that it doesn't work, always producing a printer error with no feedback.
Print preview produces 4 images, which begin to show the images but eventually resolve themselves as empty pages with just the crop marks showing. Something wrong is going on, any clues?
