I have tried to install xsane without any real success. My Kunbuntu 6.6 system prints ok and xsane scans ok but will not print to copy (Error: Broken Pipe).
I have asked for help in the hardware section but there does not seem to be an answer out there.
Approaching the problem from a different angle is there a scanning package (Kunbuntu friendly) which allows you to copy documents as one of its commands? In other words press the button, it scans and sends directly to the printer.
