Um... I guess you shouldn't really be using the i386 kernel and installers, as there are big differences between i386 and 64-bit, AFAIK. That's why there's a different installer for amd64. I'm no expert, though. So I wouldn't really know.

Yeah, I know, but I've never really had a problem installing 32bit OSes before.
On more thing, the card has 256MB DDR but the KControl module says 256kb

KControl > Display > Hardware > Graphics card > Configure

It also works on Kanotix (Xorg 6.9) using the attached xorg.conf, I tried changing the fonts paths for Xorg 7 but it still didn't work
