i have a problem, i've installed dapper drake in my desktop, and to use internet I need to install eciadsl to use myy usb modem. now, the installation nedd the "make" command, but by default it is not installed. I search it in the adept, but i can't find it, it tells me there are 938 package avaible, all installed, but there's not make.
Don't tell me "use an ethernet modem", cause i can't 4 other problems...

try installing the build-essential package. It will install everything you need to compile from source.

I tried it too, but it is not in my pc... I can't find it...
      i wrote in the shell
      "sudo apt-get instal buoild-essential"
      and the answer was
      "impossible to find build-essential"
maybe is because i don't have the cdrom repository in my source list?
      How can i add it?

Sorry,I didn't quite understand that you had no internet connection from Kubuntu (I presumed you had one). Glad you found your way around.
