Problem installing Sun Java JDK: Adept related

I recently installed the RC of Kubuntu and wanted to try installing the Sun Java JDK now that it is available in the repositories but when the install runs it keeps throwing an error that it can't complete, when I run the same install in the terminal using apt-get an error is displayed saying that the license can't be displayed and the installation quits, I'm guessing this is the underlying error in Adept.
Has anyone encountered this problem yet, and if so did you find a workaround? Are there specific steps I'm missing to install this from Adept?

Just wanted to check before I go the old route of downloading the file from Sun and creating the deb etc.

Easy way is to install "synaptic" with adept and use that to install Java.

The other way is to change debconf and run adept in console mode. (because it kind of still crash in with the gui, at least it did for me yesterday).

See this post on ubuntu forum for how to modify debconf.
