    Citrix???

I went to Citrix and retrieved and installed their Client software for Linux. Doesn't work. Found a snippit in the forum that it doesn't work, but if you run wfcmgr and wfica from the Konsole that it will work that way. Well for me, no. I get the following:

./wfcmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Anybody have any ideas? If I can get this working, I will have most of my tools I need to be able to use Kubuntu and still manage my work's servers.

    Again, Thanks in advance.

    Maybe this is of assistance:-

    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=17979
    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=152935
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php...37&postcount=4 (the issue is raised here about libxm)

It may be helpful to do a search of the forums for other users that have had similar problems through www.kubuntuforums.net or in www.ubuntuforums.org it stands a very good chance that something that is not working may be explained or advised through these routes, and the chance to ask questions where the matters are being discussed.

    Hope that helps.

OK. If I can get this working, I'll be dumping my MS partition completely on this machine so any help to this error would be great. I did what the links were talking about, but I still get:
./wfcmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I was able to get that file and it is stored here:
      media:/hda2/usr/X11R6/lib

as a link (named: libXm.so.3) to:
      libXm.so.3.0.2

      Anybody have clues?
Anybody working on something to support Citrix?

Thanks again for any help or info.

Seeing as some of those threads are ongoing, it may be of value to ask there, I am sure someone may have been through the same as yourself.

Saying that try installing 'libmotif3' for the included file libXm.so.3..... the file is kept in the multiverse repository so make sure you have that available.

EDIT : This may be helpful to you if you may or may not know this. Konqueror is your mate!
(Konqueror > Settings > Configure Konqueror > Web Shortcuts > put ticks in the boxes for Apt-Filelist and Apt-Find File)

Now in the address bar you can do :-
        apt-file:name_of_file_to_look_for

If nothing comes up (not on your machine) then under the packages.ubuntu.com type the  name_of_file_to_look_for
in the 'file to search' field then press 'go online!'
You will get a result of the package that holds that file and the repository it is held in.
        Enjoy

Hey! Thanks for replying. After I posted that, I noticed something that I didn't notice before and that was adding a link to that file in the parent Dir. Got it somewhat working. Got the main screen, now I'm trying to get it to take my config settings. Thanks! I think I'm on my way to finally breaking this machine FREEEEEEE!!!!

Great it's working...and your optimistic finish... (You learn more from playing around with the machine..tis true)

More than working. Got in and was just like it should. Thanks for your help. You at least pointed me in the correct direction. Like playing with new "stuff" like Kubuntu. Never wanted to try Linux until an article in PC World and I really was getting tired of MS's practices.
