Lost Display in system settings

Hi,

I'm pretty new to linux. I installed some packages through synaptic and when I rebooted my vertical screen resolution had changed, leaving me to scroll up and down to see the whole window. I went into system settings and the Display setting was gone.

I removed all the packages I installed and replaced any I had uninstalled and no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

If you, by some chance, upgraded to KDE 3.5.2, check this thread out and follow the instructions posted by cubicle (4th post). That should get you back on track.
