    Firefox freezes

Since I installed 2 plugins (addblocker and flashget I think) firefox freezes after a few seconds and I have to kill it. I uninstalled it and deleze /home/username/.mozilla and installed it again but it's still the same. This is the output from console:

    Re: Firefox freezes

I did a google/linux on "GdkPixbuf Firefox". (Google/linux is your friend.) Some people think that this problem is a function of using a GTK theme with filrefox under KDE. They suggest that it will go away if you use a theme like Plastik with Firefox. Ironically, the poster said that it didn't happen under Kubuntu. See i you can find a satisfactory solution, and let us know what actually works.

      I'm actually using "Plastik" theme.

This might be a long shot but I have a memory of seeing something about this elsewhere.

Press ALT + F2 for run command : type in kcontrol
Appearance and Themes > GTK Styles and Fonts

Under GTK Styles select "Use my KDE style in GTK applications"
Under GTK fonts select "Use my KDE fonts in GTK applications"

Press Apply. (Not sure if any restart is needed)  Try Firefox. Let me know if it works.
