    Mondo Segfaults on me.

Could anyone shed some light on why Mondo is segfaulting?

I am using an H.P. Colorado 8GB IDE tape drive. mt commands work fine btw. I can tar to the drive fine as well so I'm thinking it's not hardware related.

After running Mondo, and entering in all the information for my backup. Boot disks are created and all is OK. Then, when the program starts to backup to tape, the tape drive starts running and about 5 seconds after that, the program segfaults and the backup fails.

    Suggestions? Comments? Questions?

    Re: Mondo Segfaults on me.

So, I enabled the 'universe' repositories and installed a 'newer' version of Mondo. Now Mondo simply doesn't find my tape drive anymore. The drive is at /dev/ht0 verified by mt-st and flexbackup. Flexbackup seems to work fine. I've done a backup / verifiy / restore with flexbackup successfully. Still would like to get Mondo working.

I found a post on the web about someone getting segfaults in Mondo on SuSe. They upgraded newt and now it works. I tried this to no avail.
