I am looking for podcast receiver software to install. Any ideas? None of the ones I would expect show up in Adept: gPodder, jpodder, Juice, Castpodder.

amaroK can receive podcasts. At the bottom of the Playlists tab, there's a folder for podcasts. You just have to input the url of the podcast. -

Jucato is dead right Amarok is a very much a pretty good app for podcasts. You mentioned one app though that IS available from adept, you need to search or load ipodder (Now Juice) I must admit I use this one more than anything else for podcast subscriptions, it seems to offer 'more'. There is a page that gives some great results too for Linux podcast software although they may not all be available through the repos'..
