    amarok-gstreamer package missing?

Hi, I'm trying to set up the gstreamer engine for amarok but I cannot find the package "amarok-gstreamer".

    This is my sources.list

    Re: amarok-gstreamer package missing?

Dapper has migrated to gstreamer .10 from the current .8, and amarok 1.3.9 does not use gstreamer .10. I would suggest trying out the Amarok 1.4 beta, which will get you amarok-gstreamer, but many find the amarok-xine to work better/easier anyway (I do)

Great news with the now released Amarok 1.4 add the following line to your source list :-

      deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/amarok-14 dapper main

as per the anouncement of the 17th May  - http://kubuntu.org/announcements/amarok-1.4.php

hope you don't mind me adding that Claydoh.

        Re: amarok-gstreamer package missing?

Unfortunately I am completely wrong about there being an amarok-gstreamer package
I had forgotten I was using an SVN build on that machine and I had compiled it with gstreamer support, so of course I had it. the xine engine and libxine-extracodecs will take care of everything you need anyway
