Konqueror Bookmarks

One more stupid question, then I'm going to bed.

When I open konqueror, there is no bookmarks toolbar.

I go to settings>toolbars and tick bookmarks

The bookmarks toolbar appears, but when I shut down konqueror and re-open, the bookmarks toolbar has gone and I have to repeat the process. Have I done something wrong?

Any help appreciated

After you get it how you like it, go to Settings > Save View Profile
