    Automatix, KDEtv

Okay i finally got drapper 6 installed. I love it. It is fast, seams stable, looks great and almost everything i need works just fine.

Except that i cannot get automatix to run. all i get is the little screen with info on the developers which disappears when clickt. After that nada.

My kdetv is configuered exacktly as i have it on breezy and the same machine. I get sound but no picture. Is it because i imported the channel list from my breezy kdetv configuration? Or is there something else drapper beeing a beta?

If anyone has ideas on this i would be very gratefull.

    Cheers to all

I don't know anything about kdetv or tv tuner cards, but automatix is not made for dapper yet afaik.
You probably need codecs or video drivers installed (that you previously had in breezy via automatix)

Okay i have autmatix working on 6.06 final, but kdetv still is doing strange stuff like when i chose the plugin sound comes but no picture, so a choose different plugin (or comdination of) and the sound goes off for good, never to return. Oh yeah, still no picture. Under breezy it worked just fine. what is the difference as far as kdetv, xawtv (gives a ****ty splitt fuzzypicture), tvtime, etc go? I really don't feel like goeing through the hassel of installing mythtv.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

      Cheers
