kmail opens web browser but forgets to give it the URL after update

I have my kmail set to open firefox on URL's I click on. Has worked great for years and now, after an update, is borked. This is a sad break and I think a new update should happen, but WHY did it break kmail in the first place?

Haven't dug into it yet, but at least I know it happened and there are probably others out there wondering why links no longer open when clicked on.

the mailto is the firefox bork that is still there. Stupid as it seems this day in age, but firefox is a M$ app now-a-days I think.

The break is in kmail/kde. I click on an email link to url and it opens firefox, but doesn't give firefox the URL to parse.

Was just looking into it when this post came in.

I'll post back if I find it.
