No sound on FlashPlayer

How can I get sounds on the Flash plugin? The animations run ok, but with no sound, which is annoying.

I tried several workarounds I found in the Portuguese Ubuntu Forum, but none worked.

do you have sound otherwise ? Is this in Konqueror or in Firefox ? If only in Firefox, could you try in Konqueror ?
