no usplash at shutdown or reboot

    Hello,

I don't know why, but when I shutdown or reboot my PC, I cannot get usplash. I've a black screen from the closing of Xorg to the real shutdown or reboot of the PC. What's odd is that the screen is not completely off, but it's like when Xorg is booting : there's some light... don't how to describe this
If I want to see the usplash screen, I must tip "reboot" or "shutdown" from console.

For me this only happened when using kde logout dialog to reboot or shutdown, when rebooting/shutdown from kdm login (or console) it worked as it should.

Some of the many updates (to xorg?) in the last few days fixed this...so try upgrading your software.

Well, I upgrade all two or three days, but it didn't fix it...but I'll retry. And if I reinstall usplash will uplash be fixed

It might not be a usplash issue (I had different results with different graphic drivers...some didn't show anything, some showed very faint usplash and some worked normally)

Anyway, try to upgrade again (I noticed there is a new version of usplash in the repositoies too now)
